In today’s world, sometimes we don’t have the time to be able to engage in traditional weekly or bi weekly sessions. I know how busy life can get yet still needing to work on one’s mental health and emotional issues. We will work together to develop and practice effective coping skills to manage anticipated challenges during and after the EMDR Intensives. Finally, we will also plan for any follow-up treatment that may be needed. Often all that's planned is a check-in just to make sure that you're on track, with the option to do more as called for.
Who Are The Intensives For:
For busy people who don’t have a lot of free time and want to engage in intensive EMDR therapy, this option might be perfect for you. You'll be my only client for each full working day of your intensive. I will typically be available to work with you from 9 AM to 5 PM (or equivalent, such as 8 - 4) with an hour break for lunch, and other breaks as needed.
Common Issues That EMDR Intensives Can Address:
PTSD (complex and noncomplex)
